Come out to The Alley Thursday, August 1 @6pm for some Great tunes from Dirty Red Barn!
From Petaluma, California, Dirty Red Barn is influenced by artists such as Simon & Garfunkel, The Allman Brothers, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and Eric Lindell. Folksy lyrics and soaring harmonies, reminiscent of the Traveling Wilburys' sound, are in this band’s wheelhouse.
Come out to The Alley Thursday, August 1 @6pm for some Great tunes from Dirty Red Barn!
Hailing from Ludlow, Kentucky, Carrelli draws strongly from Appalachian bluegrass and traditional country music, transitioning between upbeat tempos and melody-driven ballads on her debut solo record. Having already traveled extensively with multiple folk and bluegrass groups, her musicianship and songwriting ability act as strong complements to her unique lyrical style. With influences ranging from genre mainstays like Loretta Lynn and Wanda Jackson all the way to current innovators (Kacey Musgraves’ recent Grammy sweep comes to mind), Carrelli represents a free-thinking, adventurous trend in modern country and bluegrass.

The Alley has been up and running for six years now and we have had the pleasure of owning it for three of those years. We are very excited to bring you one of Fresno’s favorite bands, “Boom Boom Brady”!
We will be serving up some great appetizers as well as, as always, fine wine and craft beer!
If you missed him unplugged last week, you have another chance! I like this one man show so much, I had to ask him back to give you all the chance to see just what I see. Come on out and listen! He only comes down once a year so don’t miss it again.
Coming from a background shaped by punk, rock and roll, roots, and various traditional folk styles, Acousta Noir brings a unique, yet oddly familiar, set of original songs to the table, along with his renditions of select and obscure covers.
Joshua first began playing music in 1994, and has been a part of a varied array of musical projects. These include punk bands (as a singer, guitarist, and drummer), singing for a heavy metal band, and a couple projects playing the upright bass.
Acousta Noir sets itself apart from the crowd by being akin to many acts, but defiantly unique from them all.
Life tends to work a little differently in Douglas County, Oregon, and Joshua works hard to embody that lifestyle in his music, while creatively utilizing his influences of traditional folk and country music, as well as punk rock and the good old story tellin' side of things.
"Just how much punch can one guy pack into a set? You'll be reeling as he blends raw bluesy soul with a rough and rowdy edge. If you like to dance, stomp your feet, or just have a good time, be there."
The unplugged Story Teller events at The Alley are all about conecting with the musician to the audience in a small intimate setting. We get to see all these awesome musicians play music all year around and often wonder how songs are written and where the ideas come from. This is a perfect way for all those questions to be answered. We have a full line up over the next to months.
Every Thursday night at 6pm Until the end of February.
17th ~ Andy Roberts (The Trespassers, Mountain Men, Turantulla)

Come by The Alley this Friday to check out one of the best bands out of San Francisco, “Killer Whale” for an awesome mixture of folk rock, psychedelic electronica, surf rock and the Caribbean. They are going to bring the funk!
"Killer Whale is a project undertaken by Thomas Johnson, a Baton Rouge, LA native, that mixes the histories and melodies of the South with the Bay and the result is something surprisingly reminiscent of the 60’s and 70’s, complete with drawbar organs, introspective lyrics, and guitar riffs that soar above a churning rhythm section."
-Do the Bay, San Francisco

Wine lovers, it's time for a tasting! We have found a great winery we think you might like. Oak Ridge Winery brings us, "Old Soul". This line of wines from Oak Ridge is quite self explanatory. To sum it up, Old Vines make great wine! Here is a little write up from the winery.
Old Vines and their descendants are vessels of an eternal soul that offer wisdom, strength, and stability. The richest, most intense, most multidimensional fruit tends to be produced from these vines. The Old Souls’ deep roots withstand drought, their grapes ripen more evenly, and the juice has a more intense, concentrated, complex flavor. These prized wines are better balanced, with more body and structure. Old Souls are everlasting, and with each sip you are drinking and becoming a part of history.
As in the past, we will have a wine flight, four three Ounce pours, and food to pair. $15 dollar tasting fee. %15 off bottles and %20 off for our wine club members!
Can't wait for you to taste this!
Also Wine club members! Your next wine club wines will be here soon!

Joullian Vinyards and Winery from Carmel Valley, will be joining us at the Alley for a tasting event!
Joullian Vineyards was created by the Joullian and Sias families of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with the goal of producing estate-crafted wines with the complexity, finesse and ageability characteristic of the finest wines of the world.
Bordeaux grapes, the inspiration for Joullian Vineyards, led our founders to choose Carmel Valley for its warm, temperate climate and reputation of producing rich and flavorful wines. In order to add further complexity and elegance to the lush flavors of these hillside vineyard wines, we grow multiple clones of each grape variety at different elevations, exposures and soil types. With multiple varietal blocks, each in a slightly different set of growing circumstances, we have the ability to add extra dimension to our wines both in the field as well as in the winery. All Joullian wines receive extended bottle aging, ensuring that upon release the wines have begun to mature and develop their special Carmel Valley character, as well as extra smoothness, complexity and bouquet.
As in the past, we will have wine a flight, four three Ounce pours, and food to pair. $15 dollar tasting fee. %15 off bottles and %20 off for our wine club members!
